Men's Boondock 6" Waterproof Work Boot

Well, the work boots I bought right before leaving Union trades finally wore out this morning when I was climbing the hills on our property picking up old trash and debris .. Think these boots are 10 years old. They have worked in multiple states, multiple industries, on every type of surface from metal catwalks, to gravel, to marsh, to swamp, to forests, to road sides, to hills and mountains. They have had deadly chemicals on them, been scorched from fire, covered in oil and grease, and submerged in my own sweat and even blood a few times. These boots have operated heavy equipment in nuclear generating facilities, stomped through concrete pours, kept my ankles and toesies safe clearing utility lines, and splashed through barnyard slop. They were $260 in 2015 or '16, and have helped me earn multiple 6 figures even before I changed my life completely, and went into my current cushy inside job I have now. And I am more than a little sad that they aren't really repairable/recraftable due to the 3/4 sole (see how the heel area looks different than the other 3/4s of the sole that's in orange?), so this will be the end of their line. Want to know why people joke about "stupid boys"? Maybe it's because little boys like me get emotional about boots. I'd counter that, though, by letting them know that I'm not eulogizing a pair of boots, but rather the last GOOD thing I had from a really dark and tumultuous time period of my life is now gone... Souls and spirits may not be a real thing, but these totally ordinary work boots either had one themselves or else were a weird, embarrassing, tiny part of my own. I'm a big boy and an over pronator. These boots keep me aligned, comfortable and supported all day long. I don't wear out the outside heel like I do in shoes or lesser boots. I can feel the benefits from the moment they go on in the morning until the end of the day. Get fit for your first pair. I wear an 11 in tennis shoes. The guy at the local Chet's put me in a 10.5 wide and they are glorious. Timberland, don't stop making these.

I've tried many different brands of boots, styles, materials, and this is by far the best boot I have had, super comfortable, durable, and not tiring.

Bought these for work. Getting hard to find a good pair of work boots. Heard good things about these and figured I would give them a shot. Haven't been wearing them long enough to give a proper review, but so far I have been very satisfied. Comfortable from day one, dry feet, and they definitely look durable. If they are as durable as they appear, I won't have to look for new boots anymore! #sweepstakes

I am In construction. So i walk through all kids of weather and put them through all kids of abuse. I have tried others but keep coming back to these.

Everyday work boots

I've worn, redwings, dancer, keen, brunt and many more and finally I found a boot that is comfortable with not daily fatigue. Only downside is they are a little heavy

Happy with all styles, blackfriday sale got wrong order, return was easy, just reorder then dropped the wrong pair at counter USPS new pair came a few days later got my refund on wrong pair in about 7 days
